When did you realize you were really in labor?
Contractions were every two minutes

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
It wasn't really challenging going natural because I've had four other children natural, but this one took me for a spin because it was twins.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Letting my body do what it was supposed to do and realize that some things may change in the blink of an eye. But also remember to be vocal about my wishes about my labor.

What surprised you about your birth?
I got to 8 1/2 cm and baby B flipped breech and no matter how much I explain to them that with a lot of practice, I could push her out they forced me into an emergency C-section. See my body was doing what it was supposed to do, but these new laws where I live that you can't deliver a breech baby. I am glad that they both are healthy just a little upset that I had to have a C-section and I've never had it before .

Be a advocate for your own pain and if you feel like something is wrong make sure you don't be quiet and you say something. Our bodies are prepared to do this we were made to do. But remember that there is always a hick up sometimes you got to swallow your pride to do was best for your baby.

I ended up an emergency C-section

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
The joy I got from seeing both of my daughters was great. I felt so many different emotions to know that my body created two beautiful human beings.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Be a advocate for your own pain and if you feel like something is wrong make sure you don't be quiet and you say something. Our bodies are prepared to do this we were made to do. But remember that there is always a hick up sometimes you got to swallow your pride to do was best for your baby.
