When did you realize you were really in labor?

My water broke at 9:57pm
What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

My labor was only an hour and 25min from water breaking to delivery. I had almost no break between contractions and shook from the moment my water broke until after delivery. Contractions hit hard right away, so there was no "build up" to get used to the pain.

I read a lot of birth stories and found some helpful tips, like keeping your eyes open during contractions and focusing on breathing

That my water broke first. This was my fourth baby and contractions had started first with the previous three
