What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
When I got to 8 cm was when I felt like giving up. Instead of breathing through it I started to do a low moan to help me get through to 10 cm.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
I ignored the horror stories and allowed myself to have my own experience. I also took some great advice from mama natural and tips from other women about keeping calm and in control.

What surprised you about your birth?
It surprised me how fast my labor was from the point she broke my water till he was born. I was in full labor for only 6.5 hours and I'm a first time mommy. I also was surprised I only had a first degree tear since my baby was almost 9 lbs. I'm a tiny woman of 120 lbs!

Keep an open mind because labor and delivery is an abyss of the unknown. But you don't have to let fear rule your experience, you just shut it out and stay in control of your mind. Make sure you have a great short group, heating pad, and a whole lot of Jesus.
