Reading and Educating Herself About Natural Birthing Processes Helped Ashley During Her Hospital Birth

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

    About 10:00 pm when my contractions became regular and I had to focus through them

  • What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

    While I ended up having a c-section with, Hunter due to him being breech, I did have Kayla at home and completely natural. I feel I had the best of both worlds really!

    Reading!!! I wanted to know what was happening with my body and how the whole birthing process went . Educating myself was key.

  • What surprised you about your birth?

    Lol that he was breech. I literally had a doctors appointment 3 days before I went into labor and was told he was head down.

    I focused! I went into my own world and road the contractions.

  • What position did you end up delivering in?

    With Kayla I was on my knees and in my Husbands lap. Hunter obviously on an OR table.

    The Greatest!!
