When did you realize you were really in labor?
Well I had to be induced 30hrs after my water was broke, I hadn't had any contractions until after I was induced.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
I honestly was terrified of going natural but wanted to for myself and my baby, and the hardest part was right before I was ready to push, I began to have really bad back labor, but it didn't last long and I was ready to push!

What surprised you about your birth?
I was surprised how fast I thought it went (6hrs of labor and 20min of pushing) and how awesome and amazing my nurse was, and how on board she was of doing it natural! And I loved how proud of me my husband was!

Your body is more than capable of the job! I also would highly recommend a good chiropractor! I made sure my pelvis was where it should be to deliver a baby and actually got adjusted before we went to the hospital! You can totally do it! Praying and sharing with your partner and your nurses also was extremely helpful! You got this!

What pain relief strategies worked best?
I switched positions and my nurse helped me decide what positions to do next! The peanut ball worked wonders even though it sucked, it got things moving quickly!

What position did you end up delivering in?
On my back with my husband holding one leg and my nurse holding the other.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
It felt amazing! We didn't know what we were having and my husband and I thought it was a boy, and when our little princess was laying on me it was amazing! ?

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
