When did you realize you were really in labor?
I had been having false labor for WEEKS so I didn't think anything of it. Went to my weekly appointment, and I was dilated to a 5 so they sent me to labor and delivery!

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
I had a very short, EASY labor! Technically I was having contractions for more than 24 hours but the only time the were regular and painful, were for about half an hour before delivery! So I didn't have any challenges!

What surprised you about your birth?
My contractions never go consistent or painful until the end. They would be anywhere from 2-20 minutes apart, no pain at all. Then at 10:45 pm they got very painful and about 30 seconds apart. I got checked at 11:15 and Dr said I was an 8 and went to leave the room. I yelled for her to stay and baby was born at 11:17! My body did everything and I couldn't control it. It surprised me how my body knew what to do without me!
