Practicing Different Techniques Before Hand Helped Jenna During Her Birth Center Birth

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

    About 3am I awoke and realized my contractions were timeable and getting stronger.

    When my water didn't break and the bag started buldging. It was a whole different kind of pain I had never experienced.

    How long it actually took from start to finish even with this being my fourth go aeound!

    Pressure on my lower back from my husband worked the best!

    In the birthing tub sitting up.

  • How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

    It was great! Not only because I was finally holding our little creation but because I knows the worst of the pain was done.

  • What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?

    Prepare as much as you can before and keep an open mind because there is no way to know exactly how everything will go.
