When did you realize you were really in labor?
My water started to leak slowly at around week 34, mucus plug went at week 36 and contractions started very slowly...I knew it was serious a few days later when I couldn't function through the contractions anymore.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
The hospital was not willing to support me in my choices, I had two previous emergency c sections and they pushed for me to have a scheduled section, or given that my labour started early to have a section as soon as I got to hospital.

What surprised you about your birth?
I felt much more positive about the entire experience this time..even though it culminated in a third emergency section I felt really strong and empowered in the aftermath. With all three babies i have had natural, intervention free pregnancies and labours but had allowed other people's opinions to make me doubt my decisions...not this time!
