When did you realize you were really in labor?
When the contractions I was having didn’t disappear, but accelerated.
-
What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
The mental game in the last couple weeks before birth; wanting to go natural without an epidural, and actually believing I can do it! It seemed like this daunting thing, but I knew I would have to face the inevitable... obviously!! Haha! I kept having to remind myself of God’s faithfulness and that He created my body to be able to do this.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Oh my gosh it was the most amazing thing ever. I was shaking with adrenaline and overwhelmed with an incredible amount of joy and thankfulness, while at the same time in a little disbelief that it was all real and actually happening.

What did you name your baby, and why?
Kinsey. We don’t really have a special reason as to why we picked that name, but we found out after that it means the King's victory... which we love.
