Counter Pressure Helped Samantha During Her Hospital Birth

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

My water broke at 5:00 am while I was laying in bed having mild contractions. I felt a pop and when I got up later some water ran down my legs. My toddler, who was sleeping next to me woke up his dad to tell him I'd peed myself.

  • What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

There really wasn't anything challenging at all. I had a wonderful and relaxed labour.
