Remaining Calm Helped Tami During Her Cesarean Birth

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

    At the hospital in triage. I was monitored and received an ultrasound to see how the baby was doing. I had came in with my bag of water broken, my placenta partially abrupted, in early labor. I had no idea. I walked in to the hospital.

    Giving up control and remaining calm.

    I got to hold her when she was six days old. It was Joy. A Release.

    Medical personal are open to your ideas.
    Surround yourself with people who are supportive and understanding. Knowing you can do this your not alone.
