We didn’t have a girl name nailed down until a week or two before her birth. I really liked names with v and l, and we wanted something not so common. Waverly reminded us of when we lived on the pacific coast early in our marriage. We didn’t plan it, but now that she’s here we call her “Wavy” and it’s the cutest thing. We moved to a new city shortly after Waverly was born, and it turns out Waverly is a school district and main road in the city.
