When did you realize you were really in labor?
When I started having cramps that quickly turned into contractions along with losing my mucus plug

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
I actually found this birth to be much easier than my hospital epidural birth. I let my body handle everything and accepted, not feared the contractions. Fear was the biggest challenge leading up to the delivery.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Watch as many wee birth videos I could. I also spent abreast deal of time thoroughly discussing everything with my midwife.

What surprised you about your birth?
How aware of I was of everything happening. With every contraction I could feel my son moving down and I pushed him out I one push but my body was in control and helped expel him out. It was insanely awesome. And my labor was less than 5 hrs. I never got to the point where I thought I could no longer go drug free.
