A few hours after my contractions become regular, I felt really nauseous and vomited. That's when I realized this was probably the real thing.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
I did acupuncture weekly the last month of my pregnancy and it provided me the time to relax, focus on my pregnancy, and prepare for delivery by meditating on labor/delivery affirmations.
Also, staying active during pregnancy (walking, squats, yoga and swimming) helped prepare physically.

It was shorter than I expected.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Ignore labor for as long as you can, rest as much as possible, and trust your instinct to do what feels right for your body.
