  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

    When I felt the pain differently, then I knew it was time. The pain was stronger than usual.

    The pains before and during the birthing of the baby itself.

    Reading lots about being pregnant and having a baby, it helped me a lot. Subscribing to weekly newsletter on pregnancy and delivery.

  • What surprised you about your birth?

    The shortness of the labour and delivery of the baby. It was a miraculous act of God differing from what I've read and heard from other mothers.

  • I'l advice them to ensure they eat healthy while pregnant and engage in some little exercise while pregnant and most importantly to keep praying for short labour time and keep close with God and His word.
  • What pain relief strategies worked best?

    Breathing in and out as instructed and staying calming, enduring the pain.

  • What position did you end up delivering in?

    Lying on my back not completely flat.

  • How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

    Great and fulfilling.

  • What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
