  1. Serena’s father named her, He is a huge Halo fan and when I told him I changed my mind on the name I picked he blurted out Serena and I agreed..

  2. The name Serena came from my favorite anime, Sailor Moon. I wanted her to be like the main character, who never gives up on the people she loves and values friendship and light.

  3. I chose her name because we have 2 older girls whose names begins with the letter S. Eldest Scarlett, middle Sienna, last Serena. Plus Serena is also a Catholic Saint.

  4. During a pandemic, having to have a second trimester cerclage, as a high risk pregnant mama who lost a baby in 2019 was much. Even with all the rushing to doctors appointments every week for monitoring and twice a week in the last weeks, she made me the calmest I’ve ever been. Perfectly serene. Which is how I chose the name Serena, although I’ve called her Vivi since she was in the womb. Her middle name is Vivienne, after my mom, the strongest woman I know.
