What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Taking the childbirth classes. They gave a lot of good techniques on how to handle pain that I practiced a lot at home.

What surprised you about your birth?
From the time my water broke to the time I held my baby was three hours. The longest three hours of my life.

Lower back massage and controlled breathing

What position did you end up delivering in?
I delivered in the hospital, so on my back.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Oh! words can't describe. My heart felt whole, I felt warm, peaceful, so deeply in love that I felt like I was in a trance.
