When did you realize you were really in labor?
My water started leaking early in the morning, though nothing else changed. It wasn't until 8 pm that night that I felt and heard a POP and real contractions began!
-
What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
No relief in the intensity of contractions. Since my active labor was under 5 hours things progressed really rapidly.

Hard to say what the most helpful thing. I really believe chiropractor visits for the last two months made a difference. Having confidence in my midwife and her ability to help guide my body through the process was really helpful.

That my baby was really here. I was shocked at how quickly he was born after very few signs of labor early on.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Trust your body. God made it to do this virtually on its own, don't over think it. That being said, use things in your means to help prepare, things like good diet, birth tinctures, chiropractor etc.
