Reply Amanda Oct 11 at 7:56 am Our oldest nephew, whom my husband helped raise when he was a teen, is named Patrick Riley. In honor of the relationship they share, we chose to name our second daughter Rileigh. My middle name is Leigh, so we used that spelling as a way to make the name more feminine. Her middle name is Hazel after my maternal grandmother who passed away 7 years ago right after my husband and I met. She was my person and I was her only grandchild, so we spent a ton of time together. She taught me how to crochet, something I still use today to make dolls for my girls. So our little girl’s name is honoring two of the most important relationships in our lives. Reply Share your thoughts on the name Rileigh Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
