She wasn’t doing good at all when I talk to her bout baby names. She didn’t last that long after I talk to her. It help me stay with that name. I also love the outdoors and hunting. There is a gun called Remington also that was my first gun I ever had and i killed my first deer with that kind of gun. So Remington has so meaning why I love that name for my baby boy

  11. I actually first heard the name Remington on a Netflix TV show (Queer Eye! lol). I just loved it right away. I am also really interested and emotionally connected to French culture and calling Remington, Remy for short is such a beautifully French inspired name (not JUST the name of the cute little rat from Disney’s Ratatouille haha). After I told my husband about the name Remington, we sat on it for a while and juggled with that and other names. Then one day when I was in my bathroom, I looked down and saw “Remington” on the side of my curlers. I took that as a sign and we ended up choosing Remington in the end!

What I hate about Remington is that for some reason, people have a hard time pronouncing it when they ask what his name is, I tell them, and they repeat it back. Also, living in the midwest, most people associate Remington with a gun company. I had no idea that was the name of a firearms company!

Even though Remy is only 8-months-old right now, I worry about him being able to spell Remington when he gets into kindergarden, because it’s so long. But I still just really love the name and it fits my son perfectly!
