  1. A family name that has gone back several generations

  2. Patrick was one of my brothers middle name, there were 5 of them though and my dad called all of them by their first name and the middle name Patrick when they needed to be addressed. It is a way to honor him. It was still very odd thinking you can name a human for the rest of their life.

  3. We’ve always loved the name (it’s my husbands middle name). It’s classy and uncommon in our circle. They only thing I dislike is that I don’t like nicknames for it. I also thought it was too mature sounding for a baby, but it actually always suited him well (:

  4. He is named after his uncles ! I love this name much !

  5. Patrick is my father in laws name. My husband is the last boy of the Keena last name. So when we found out we had a boy ( the day of birth) we payed a tribute to my husbands dad to call him Patrick Keena, as their family name will continue.

  6. We chose the name Patrick in Honor of my husband’s father who passed away before we even met. The only thing I don’t like is when people asked if we named him after the character on spongebob we don’t even like the show.

  7. Patrick is a name we read about in a children’s book.

  8. He is named after his daddy and I love that name because of it being the name his daddy choose for him
