  1. I think Parker is a BEAUTIFUL name for a baby girl! When I have kids I want 2 girls. I LOVE the names Blayke and Parker! They are great gender neutral names that aren’t to unique but aren’t to common either!

  2. It’s a family name that we loved for being gender neutral. Her middle name is James, after her father’s middle name. My dad gave me his middle name so we continued with the tradition.

  3. My maiden name is Parker. Since my younger brother sadly died without any children this was the best way to carry on the name. Her full name is Parker Eliana Grace. I’m 41 and had two miscarriages. I prayed very hard for my sweet girl. Eliana means “my God answered me”. So basically her middle names mean “my God answered me with grace”. I thank him for the gift of my daughter often ?

    • I was looking up the meaning of Parker and stumbled on your beautiful, touching post. What a lovely combination. I’m sorry about your brother. Today would have been my husband’s birthday. My mother in law, my husband, my Dad and my Mom all died in the month of January and a dear Christian friend who was born in January passed away. So did her husband and grandson. May God continue to bless you richly. Life is hard, “But God….”

    • This is my name and for the longest time I hated it but seeing these post make me as a 16 year old girl love the name and this brings me so much joy.

  4. We found out we were pregnant while on our Honeymoon in the National Parks, so we thought Parker was fitting!

  5. We wanted a gender neutral name, as we did not find out the sex. Plus if they do not identify with their gender at birth later on… My partners favourite superhero is Spider-Man. Whose alias is Peter Parker. Plus my partners last name begins with P.

  6. It’s a strong name for a girl. It’s the only name I had for my child boy or girl. Named for my grandfather she came in the world I knew she was Parker. That’s it. Parker Elizabeth. Perfect name for her. She is now 29

    • My daughter is also Parker Elizabeth. Elizabeth was the family name for us and was always going to be her middle name. We had 8 names on a list and could not decide. So we called Godparents and Grandparents and let them all vote.

      • This so interesting. I have a daughter named Parker Elizabeth too, she is almost 20. I heard the name when I traveled to England when I was 16 and just remember the little girl turning around after her dad called her and just adored the name and never heard it for a girl, I was in awwww and my first daughter – Parker!

  7. It’s a family name

  8. This is my daughter’s name and she loves it! She also gets a ton of compliments on it, frequently. We named her for a name in my family (Park) and I also loved it after reading Nora Robert’s Bride Quartet series, which featured an adult female named Parker and I realized that it was exactly what I was looking for: a name that translates easily from childhood to adulthood and – more importantly – a name that is easy to spell and pronounce! Her teachers love it and it’s not so common that she gets lost in the herd of Emma’s and Adelyn’s, but also not so unique that it’s weird.

    • This comment is coming from someone named Gisell LOL.. your mom didn’t even spell your name right. Also, your kind of an asshole. Maybe cuz your name sucks.. any-who, I love the name Parker! I’m sure she won’t grow up to be a little prick like Gisell over here.

    • That is super RUDE!!!!

  9. Dad loves spiderman

  10. Your name is gonna be Parker regardless boy or girl but it did take time to decide on a name we both agreed on so I have a Parker Faith Marie and if it was a boy it would have been Parker Cruz Shawn.

  11. Like that one of its meanings is “keeper of the forest” for we’re all about nature here and love being amongst the trees. Think it’s a cute and cool name for a girl. Less common name too which I like but I know some people think it should just be for boys.

  12. I choose Parker because I honestly fell in love with it the first time I’ve heard it. I kept saying nope her name is carter but in reality I wanted it to be Parker. My aunt came up with both names really. And I honestly couldn’t decide but I knew I loved Parker much more than carter
