  1. Felt a connection

  2. I think my name is soooooooooooooooo pretty and slayyyyyyyy!!!

  3. I feel as if Kaylee is a great name many have the name which is very common i love my name and wouldn’t change it for the world and if you ever consider to name your child that you’ll not regret it so please consider it i’m also named after my aunt and i love my name

  4. My parents were originally going to name me either Sheena or Alexis, and I was going to be called Jason if I were a boy. But the story goes that one night when my mom was about 7 months pregnant with me her and my dad were watching a movie and one of the characters was called Kaylee. They both really liked the name and decided on it for their girl name.

I was born in 1984, so Kaylee wasn’t nearly as common when I was in school as it is now. I was the only Kaylee in both my elementary and high schools. It was pretty neat growing up being the only one around with my name. There were lots of Jessicas, Jennifers, Ashleys, and Michelles, but I was the only kid around with my name for many years.

When my son started school in the mid 2010s I noticed a lot of classrooms had one or 2 Kaylees in them, so it seems to have become a fairly popular name. But it’s a good name, so I understand the appeal. If you’re considering Kaylee for your child’s name I would have to say that it’s a good choice. It’s served me well for 37 years now. I know some people grow up to dislike or resent the name that their parents gave them, but I’ve never felt that way. I’ve seen it go from a relatively uncommon name to an extremely popular one and have been happy and proud to have the name either way.

  5. Her name is 2 middle names her grandmothers was kay and her dad and I have the same middle name Lee her middle name is one of my close friends last name who passed away in Afghanistan

  6. We chose Kaylee as the anglicized spelling of ceilidh, a Gaelic word referring to a traditional gathering featuring stories and songs. We almost used the Gaelic spelling but didn’t want to guarantee her name would be mispronounced all her life.

  7. Kay is my moms middle name & lee is my dad’s 🙂 best way to honor both parents by capitalising both names being spelled KayLee

  8. My mom’s middle name is Kay and my MIL’s middle name is Lea (pronounces Lee). It has meaning for us and we love it. We spelled it this way so as to not confuse people on pronunciation, but stick close to my MIL’s spelling.

    • Cool!!
