The name in literal Hebrew translation means: YAHWEH is my strength. YAHWEH is not a title but a name. Hezekiah was a loyal king who puts his trust in the true God carrying that name. In Kings, Chronicles and Isaiah is Hezekiah mentioned and his trust in the God of the Israelites. His victories were because of if trust in Yahweh. This explains his name. Reply Andriana Sep 13 at 12:40 pm When we found out I was pregnant with our second we felt like the Lord was telling us to name our son Hezekiah. We didn’t even know we were having a boy yet but we started calling him that right away! Sure enough, at 20 weeks it was very obvious that we were having a son. Lol! It is a little difficult for people to remember and it is a mouthful but I’ve always loved King Hezekiah in the Bible and the words that have been spoken over this little one confirm that he will be a spiritual leader and man of God’s presence. I can’t wait to see how God will use him! Reply Laurette Jul 25 at 12:35 am It’s a strong and mighty biblical name from the Bible and it’s his dads middle name so it was only right !!
