Okay i have siblings named desiree deasia dakota(me) dahronah dior dylan dallas denver dakiyah dason and dayeon i hate my name so much i have never met another person names dakota and people like to make nicknames since you can make so many out of my name for some reason i feel like its a boy name thats what everyone tells me but ik they are not helping but thats it i dont like it but its my name

  5. We chose Dakota after a friend of our passed away shortly before we got pregnant. He believed alot in Native American religion and when we searched baby names we saw Dakota that means friend or Ally. It fit perfectly for us.
