Unique but not too different! Reply Lauren Jul 9 at 12:21 pm We loved that this was a perfect unique spin on the common name David. We call him Davi for short. Reply Melissa Sep 13 at 10:34 am The reason I named my son Davis is because I named him after my grandma who died when my mother was a child. Davis is her maiden name so that’s how I came up with the name. I was unlucky that I never got to meet her but I know she looks down on us and keep us safe. Reply Caroline Apr 11 at 12:51 pm My husband’s name is David and it runs in the family and he wanted to name him I David because of that! It was too common for me though so when we heard Davis we loved it! Reply Share your thoughts on the name Davis Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
