So it worked out. It means Wise Counselor. I found that most people like his name and don’t question it too much. Other than my grandmother who is 96. She says it’s a dogs name and only calls Alfie “Al”. I don’t mind really because she’s 96! I’m so glad we named him his name. I’m drawn to classic/older names, especially ones that are just a tad off the mainstream or that have a particular ring to them.
