The stunning conclusion of the Mama Natural Games. It’s a contest of sheer strength and brute force. The mom who can lift the most babies wins. Sounds simple, but it’s definitely not easy.
Hope you enjoyed the Games! And now we return to our regularly scheduled programs.
It’s time for the next event in the Mama Natural Games: Helicopter Parenting.
The objective of this event is to hover as closely as you can to your child, without touching them. It takes great agility, a sharp eye, and, some would say, a compulsive fear of the real world.
The 2012 London Games start tomorrow, which got me thinking…
As mamas, we compete in Olympic feats DAILY, from holding a toddler while cooking the family dinner, to tromping around on all fours with a gaggle of kids in the park, to pushing a stroller while talking on the phone and sipping coconut water at the same time.
And yet, sadly, we aren’t getting any gold medals for these stunning acts of physical and emotional endurance. Until now.
Mike and I are pleased to present our first Mama Natural Games. Like the Olympics, this special programming will be going on for the next several weeks on our blog.
We had a jolly good time making these videos, and we hope you all get a kick out of them too!
